Despite a potential leak back in July, it’s now only a few more days until Imogen Heap’s new album Ellipse is released. Soooo excited!

Of course, you’ve probably noticed that the release date is still 6 days away… But don’t panic! Until then, Immi’s been kind enough to stream the album for our immediate pleasure:

Race For Life

So it’s getting to that time of year again. It won’t be long until you’re walking around and a stampede of people in various pink apparel and costumes suddenly run by you. Yes, it’s time to Race For Life.

I’m told that some runners like the challenge, some actually enjoy the exercise (urgh), and some just love any excuse to dress up. Whatever the reason, they’re helping to raise enough funds so that the wonderful people at Cancer Research UK can continue to work towards beating cancer, and that’s the important part.

Now despite being due to give birth mere weeks before the event, this year my sister has decided to participate in the race in memory of our mother, Lorraine, who died of lung cancer in December.

So if you’re looking for someone to sponsor, or even if you just have a couple of quid going spare then please head over to Fiona’s Race For Life page to sponsor her.

I finally realised that I wouldn’t have the time to build my site by hand, so I started looking at the solutions available.
It didn’t take long before I decided to settle on WordPress, and so far I’m quite impressed. The site’s not finished and is still under construction while I explore what I can do with this new tool, but for now at least it’s better than what I had before.
